The General Assembly is the supreme governing body of the APR. The functions of the General Assembly are as follows:

1. Establishes the strategy and general objectives of the association
2. Approve changes to the statute;
3. Choose the Board of Directors of the Association;
4. To elect the president, vice president and general secretary  of the association;
5. Approve requests and terminates affiliation protocols;
6. Approves the revenue and expenditure budget and the balance sheet;
7. Choose Censor or Censors Board;
8. Approves exclusion proposals from the association;
9. Approves the dissolution and liquidation of the association as well as the determination of the destination of the remaining assets after liquidation.
